Abilene Christian University is a private University which is affiliated with Churches of Christ. Founded in 1906, it is located in Abilene, Texas, and was initially named Childers Classical Institute. Though the name may have changed, their mission remains the same – that of educating students for Christian service and leadership throughout the world.
