
The Tippie School of Management in the University of Iowa was first established as the College of Commerce in 1921. It is considered one of the oldest business schools in the United States. In 1949, it was renamed after University of Iowa alumnus, Henry B. Tippie. The Tippie School of Management offers a wide range of MBA programs that are specific to a person's goals of career advancement. Each program offered has its own strengths and benefits for the students. Continuing University of Iowa's tradition of bringing high standard education to its students, Tippie School of Management strives to provide students with a flexible yet competitive curriculum for all MBA programs. They can choose from a wide range of electives to be able to specify their course load more, thereby allowing them to be experts in their desired subjects. All programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The school also provides its students with an environment conducive to learning.
